On May 2nd, CAB (Campus Activities Board) hosted a night of pre-finals bingo in the Cougar Den. With everyone stressed out and finishing up assignments before finals week hits, this was a nice way for students to have a little competitive fun.
With prizes varying from water bottles and candy to a grill, they truly covered all the bases. Students assembled downstairs where they gathered around as CAB current president Olivia Sobieraj and upcoming president Lauren Hiatt-Wilson called the shots. They did a fantastic job of keeping the evening light. Hiatt-Wilson made sure to keep up the jokes calling B4, she trained students to respond “and after”, which was sure to catch a laugh.
CAB has hosted many events that help students to relax and get involved like paint night, spring formal, ornament decorating and so much more. What they do on at Concordia is greatly appreciated, as we all need the chance to cool down and have fun.
Students seem to be looking forward to more events form the Campus Activities Board in the future. Olivia Beger, a Concordia Sophomore said, “ I hope they have more events like this in the future! I would love to win for a change.”
