Thursday, March 14th: As we come back from our day break in sunny Florida, we dust the sand off our feet to lace up our cleats for another day of back to back games.
For our second to last day in our spring break trip, we face Ursinus College and Franklin and Marshall College. As we take on this day, Coach reminds us that the importance of this trip is to come together as a team and work forward to our goals we set for ourselves at the beginning of the season.
This trip is more than just the start for Team 7, it is where we build our bonds even stronger and start to understand what it truly means to be a team and know what each other is capable of.
In light of this, we went on to dominate the day with two wins over our opposers, using our adversity and skills to come together for our common goal and succeed.
Of course, after the games are over we stop at a local Chick-Fil-A for a quick lunch before we head back to the resort. For some of the girls, this is their first time ever eating from this restaurant, and southern Chick-Fil-A’s definitely do not disappoint! Overall, a great end to a great day for the Concordia University Chicago Cougar softball team.
