Saturday, March 16th: After arriving back in Chicago after a very successful week in Florida, the Cougars have time to reflect on their game play so far.
After fighting through very sudden illnesses and missing players who have been key to the success of this team in the past, many people has to step up very early on. When these people were able to come back, a more complete and well-rounded team is created and now Team 7 has found their way into truly becoming who they want to be.
Looking forward, NACC play is just around the corner with the first match-up being against Lakeland University. With the dominant success the Cougars have had in the past couple of years, the goal is to move further up and break more barriers set before us in our journey through this season.
Personally, this was my first ever collegiate trip and I could not have had more fun. From hanging out in the pool after games, getting to explore Florida, and playing my favorite sport with some of my best friends, it could not have been any better. The future looks bright for the Cougars, seeing as this is the best record we have had coming out of Florida since 2016.
So as we make our way back to the Windy City, the Cougars are ready to take on this season head on and make it the best one yet.
