Starting out in the spring of 2003, a rock band from Ocala, Florida has crashed their way through the punk rock music scene by mashing together elements of rhythmic guitar riffs, headbanging drum beats and upbeat vocals that will leave any listener wanting more. Fifteen years ago, the band A Day To Remember was created, and has released six studio albums, thirteen singles, twenty-two music videos, and awarded three platinum records. Their most famous songs, “If It Means A Lot To You” and “Downfall Of Us All” were certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
A Day To Remember announced late last year that in 2018 they will kick off a “15 Years In The Making” tour with special guests, Papa Roach, Falling In Reverse, and The Devil Wears Prada. The tour made stops in the Midwest at Grand Rapids, MI, Saint Louis, MO and right here in Chicago, Illinois at the UIC Pavillion on February 24!
For the average college student concerned with money, A Day to Remember tickets are relatively cheap and will keep you on your feet with their onstage antics like confetti cannons, T-shirt cannons, toilet paper, streamers, fire, and even a giant inflatable hamster ball! A Day To Remember’s onstage energy will surely reflect back onto any concertgoer, their unique style of music and rambunctious personalities make any individual have a memorable experience, it will genuinely be a day to remember.
