There are two marketing internships with Sodexo Corp. that are open now and as the title states these are paid positions.
According to their website, Sodexo is a publically held corporation founded in 1966 in France. Their web site states that the company is involved in sustainable energy programs, efficiently designed workspaces and wellness and nutrition. The company employs about 420,000 people across the globe, is the management company for all five of the restaurants at CUC and manages all of the catered events on campus.
There is no full time marketing manager for Sodexo at CUC, that position is filled by four marketing interns. Presently two of those intern positions are open. The responsibilities include: managing limited time offers and promotions, managing the dining web site and the social media avenues Twitter and Facebook, advertising upcoming events, event set-up, taking photos of events for social media and putting together marketing plans for the semester.
Interns start at $9.00 per hour and work from five to 20 hours per week. Other benefits include full meals while working, but more importantly, the real life experience of working in a corporate marketing environment. The interns are trained and then act as true Marketing Managers, managing all aspects of Sodexo at CUC’s marketing program.
Sodexo also has two openings for part-time cashiers; these are non-intern positions for someone who is looking to work a few hours a week to earn some extra cash.
