River Forest, IL. The Concordia Cougars (2-4) returned home, after dropping their game in Lakeland College the previous week, as Aurora University (3-3) dominated and take down the Concordia 58 – 7.
Aurora took the lead quickly in the first period, after which Concordia tied the game seven on a Peyton Seidler pass to Ryan Allison at the 7:56 mark of the first period.
Afterwards, everything was controlled by Aurora. They scored 37 in the first half and 21 in the second half as Concordia committed eight turnovers total in the game. Aurora finished with 549 total offensive yards and their defense held Concordia to 219 total yards along with the eight turnovers. Peyton Seidler finished with 10-18-3 passing with 129 yards and a touchdown. Jakari Cammon rushed for 48 yards which lead the team.
Concordia is back at home again next week to take on Benedictine University at 1:30 pm.
