Getting to Know the World Around You

Hello again!

It has been a while since my last posting; but I am happy to tell you that I made it safely back from Europe, and have been readjusting to the CUC lifestyle. But, what exactly am I doing writing more blogs? GOOD question… I am here to inform you about the world around you. After having the opportunity to travel around Europe, I wanted to make sure that I tell you why I think it is so important to travel. Also,  I want to make sure that you knew studying abroad is an option for you as well!

Now that I have your interest… for my senior project, I will be posting blogs about different countries around the world. But, THE BEST PART IS, that I will also be interviewing the international students on campus! They are going to have the opportunity to explain to us more about their country and why they think they should visit. They will also provide tips on what to do when you are there, and how to really engage in their culture. I will be posting weekly blogs about different countries, and hopefully the blogs will help you become more determined to get out and travel the world.

Who knows…. maybe you’ll become so interested in a country, that  it will inspire you to want to study abroad there! That would be really awesome.

SO stay tuned because next week will be the first official blog!!

OHH and if you want to know more about my experience abroad, make sure that you come to my presentation on Thursday, April 13th! More information will be posted as the date approaches.

Talk soon,

-H
