This year’s Concordia Invitational Tournament will be hosted here on CUC’s campus from January 29th through the 31st. This is the first time it has been here in Chicago in five years, and it is sure to bring some excitement during the harsh days of winter.

The tournament will feature both Men and Women’s basketball match-ups between Concordia Chicago, Concordia Nebraska, Concordia Ann Arbor, and Concordia Wisconsin. The games will be held in the main gym attached to the south gym and CUC Hall of Fame. The festivities will begin on Friday, January 29th at 9:00 with a CIT Gameday in the Crossroads Cafeteria, followed by opening Chapel services at 11.

The game schedule for CIT:

January 29th

Women’s Ann Arbor vs. Nebraska at 1:00 PM

Men’s Ann Arbor vs. Nebraska at 3:15 PM

Women’s Wisconsin vs. CUC 6:00 PM

Men’s Wisconsin vs. CUC 8:15 PM

January 30th

Women’s Consolation Game 12:00 PM

Men’s Consolation Game 2:15 PM

Women’s Championship Game 5:00 PM

Men’s Championship Game 7:15 PM

Closing Ceremonies.

Other activities that will be going on during the tournament include a Lip Sync Battle in the Cougar Den for all attending students at 10:00 PM on January 29th, an alumni reception for CUC later that night after the 8:15 game and a closing devotion after the championship game. If you want to find tickets to pre-order, here is a link to where you can do that.
