On Friday February 20th, BSU (Black Student Union) held Concordia Chicago’s first Ebony Ball in the OPRF room. An Ebony Ball is a traditional dance that began in the late 1980’s.The theme of this Ball was Harlem Nights, and the plan was to dress like they did during harlem nights: big boas, suit and ties, and lots of pearls! There was live music, a DJ, professional photographers, a poet and tons of dancing. The fun began when the doors opened at 7.
